British Council IELTS Closed Session Service
British Council offers IELTS Closed Session exams for schools and universities. Students can take the test on-site, right at their own school or university — or at a British Council exam center, whichever works best for the partner.
We also know that good preparation helps students perform better, so we offer free workshops and mock tests before the real exam:
• IELTS Workshops (online or on-site) — British Council cover the cost, minimum 30 participants. Open to both IELTS candidates and anyone interested.
• IELTS Mock Tests (British Council cover the cost):
o 2 Skills (Listening & Reading) — minimum 30 participants, IELTS candidates only
o 3 Skills (Listening, Reading, Writing) — minimum 50 participants, IELTS candidates only
Partner Incentive: 300 THB for every student who registers for the exam.

Venue: Schools and universities can choose where to hold the exam — their own campus or a British Council center. If the exam is held at the partner's site, our team will inspect the venue at least 5 weeks before the exam date to make sure it meets IELTS standards.
